City of Glass, Cassandra Clare

My favourite book is City of Glass written by Cassandra Clare, published in 2009. The genre is fantasy and it is the third book of the mortal instruments series.

The book is about Clary, the daughter of a cruel shadowhunter. To save her mother's life, she must travel to the City of Glass, the ancestral home of the shadowhunters. But to enter the City is very dangerous and full of risks. Clary has to stop her father, because he musters the full force of his power to destroy all shadowhunters forever.

I really love the book, because it is exciting all the time. It is dramatic, has a lot of action and is full of romantic parts
