LITERATOUR COMENIUS PROJECT

El proyecto Literatour ha sido realizado conjuntamente por dos institutos: Mauritius Gymnasium de Büren, Alemania y el Institut Santiago Sobrequés de Girona, España. Nuestra lengua de comunicación fue el inglés, aunque se ha trabajado con otras lenguas, alemán, español, catalán para hablar de literatura y para las lecturas.

Nuestro objetivo común fue fomentar la lectura. Los libros fueron propuestos por los alumnos y también otros sugeridos por los profesores: los alumnos escogieron libros de lectura, hablaron de ellos en el grupo de trabajo con la finalidad de animar a los demás a leerlos y después comentarlos en un blog: http://literatour2013.blogspot.com.es/

El objetivo añadido ha sido la mejora del nivel lingüístico de lengua extranjera, inglés a nivel oral y escrito. Además se ha procurado interesar a los alumnos en el aprendizaje de otras lenguas, como el alemán, el español o el catalán como lengua minoritaria en Europa y abrir el espíritu del alumnado a las otras culturas europeas.

Otra parte del proyecto consistió en el trabajo común creativo sobre tres libros acordados previamente por ambas escuelas: "El libro de la Selva" de Rudiyard Kippling, "Tom Sawyer" de Mark Twain en inglés y "El Mal de Guttemberg" de Jesús Carazo en español o alemán. La literatura ha servido también de punto de partida para otros tipos de trabajo creativo como, cortometrajes, fotografías, teatro, música o manualidades.

Se han publicado en el blog un gran número de artículos sobre más de setenta libros.

In the Comenius-Project "LITERA-TOUR" learners and teachers from both Schools: Mauritius Gymnasium from Büren, Germany and Institut Santiago Sobrequés from Girona, Spain are involved in reading and using the English language as a communication language in order to talk about literature.

Our common interest focusses on books that young people like reading as well as others suggested by teachers: They chose the books to read and spoke about them to the workgroup so as to invite and encourage the others to join them in the reading and to comment their impression about it on a projects' blog.:http://literatour2013.blogspot.com.es/

The ongoing discussion about books and individual preferences were done not only in their first language (German, Catalan or Spanish) but also in English as to enhance the language competences of the pupils. 

Another part of the project was about the creative work after reading three agreed books: The Jungle Book  by Rudyiard Kippling and  Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain  in English and Gutemberg allergie by Jesús Carazo in Spanish or German.  Literature has been a starting point to produce other creative work such as short films, photography, performances, music or artcraft.

A great number of critical posts about more than seventy books have been published in the blog.
