WORKSHOP: MUSIC

In this workshop, we sang in a choir. Our teacher was Jochen Haneke, who practised the songs with us. There were ten students more than planned in the course because they wanted to sing in their free time.
Before singing, we did voice exercises. The students were divided into Alt, Sopran and Bariton voices. Then, we were able to choose between four songs (You've got a friend, Happy, Can You Feel The Love Tonight, Only You)
After trying every song, we chose to sing Only You.

The worshop was very fun and everyone was very proud of the great result at the end.

Top Secret, Robert Muchamore

The story "Top Secret", written by Robert Muchamore deals with the training of young people to become agents.

James Choke is an ordinary twelve year old. Well - until his mother dies, he ends up in an orphanage and subsequently trained at CHERUB to be agent. From there stands his whole world head - Because life at CHERUB is, for twelve year olds, not child's play ...

My opinion: Very well written. The training is really cool in itself, but a little too hard for twelve year olds. In normal life anyway. Here in the book that seems to be very easy. But hey - it's a book. I know that too. It is super. Even the adventure of his first job, he gets after he has completed the training, I like that. I'm going to buy the following books :)

The Fault in Our Stars - John Green

The Fault In Our Stars is the sixth novel by John Green. It was published in January 2012 and it deals with the psychological side effects of Cancer.
The book is very emotional and intoxicating. The main characters are Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters, both Cancer patients. They meet in the Support Group for the first time and the book tells us their love story.

The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins

The Hunger Games are an annual tradition directed by the Capitol rulers, not only to amuse the citizens, but also to preserve control over the districts by demonstrating the Capitol's dominance.
Each year, the twelve districts must send two representatives, a girl and a boy, to participate in the Hunger Games. These representatives are called "tributes" to make people believe that representing their district is an honor, even though each person lives in fear that someone they love will be chosen. And the entire nation must watch as these 24 tributes battle each other to the death until only one is left as the victor. Having a victor is very important to a district.

This book is full of suspense but it's also very sad.
Every situation is given with lots of details. The book is rich in discussion points, not only about government, personal freedom and sacrifice, but also about what it means to be yourself and not submit to society's expectations.
Personally for me this book was very good to read. I couldn't let the book out of my hands.
At some parts I had the feeling to be in the story.
I can recommend the book to everyone who loves books full of suspense with a touch of romance.
